My great niece had outgrown the skirt but we loved the buckle and think it will last for many years now. Added a pocket under the zip too.

Very nice!  I'm impressed - I have had a go at bags like this but find it so hard to attach a lining that I have given up and moved on to other things. Love the applique you have added as well.
