Yes, this home is in Bowling Green. My client is a decorator whose taste I love; her home reflects her creative eye in every room. BTW, I know Lynchburg well; a beautiful town with lovely folks!

Love, love, love the color combinations. Where in Virginia? I am from Lynchburg. Miss the mountains.

Hi Jodie, Thank you for your kind words! Yes, I've been making slipcovers for several years, mainly for myself. When we moved to Virginia in 1996 a neighbor asked me to make one for her. That turned into several other requests and I eventually started a business. When I see the incredible creations made by members of this community, I don't think of slipcovers as being difficult. It became a great deal easier, however, when my husband built a workroom and a custom work table for me. Many of the techniques I've developed for accuracy and time saving are due to having the right equipment, but I made many slipcovers in the old days at the dining room table with my little portable machine and ironing board! I whole-heartedly encourage you to try one (it's a LOT simpler than sewing a blouse); the transformation of your furniture is really worth it. I'm here to help - just let me know. It can be done!!

Sincerely, Peg

These look great Had you made slipcovers before? How difficult was it for you? Sorry for questions, but I am thinking about doing the same thing on a love seat very similar at the end of my master bedroom.
