Star Spangled Pup sock doll

This little guy came about from two things: 1) my dislike for all the teeny scraps that come off my sock dolls and 2) a 'happy mistake'. The pattern was originally for an upright zebra/horse sock doll, and the head didn't turn out bad, but the body ended up the wrong shape due to me sewing something shut that I shouldn't have. The ears are me winging it because I wanted to see what I could make with them if I simply refused to have any scraps left over. 100% of both socks went into this guy! Yay!

Aww! I have a soft spot for sock dogs. He's awesome, He reminds me of the Target dog. Love the star!
