I love the tile in the base and the scissor loop.  I like the fabric, although I wonder if I made one while having a glass of wine if it would look that good?

Jean, there is a tile in the base.  I purchased the tile at my local hardware store.

Great idea, especially the loop for the scissor. What is in the oblong that the pin cushion is on?
