I guess we have more in common then just sewing my husband also had a stroke in 2007, he also had throat cancer and beat that too.  What guild do you belong to.  I have friends who belong to the quilting guilds in New Orleans.  Hope all is well with your husband.  Keep in touch

 

Hi Alexia, I live in Kentwood since the storm but I use to live in St Bernard Parish.  I sew with a group of people from the Southshore.  Do you work?  I have a group of ladies who come up to sew with me in my sewing room twice a month and I also have an embroidery club once a month.  We'll have to get together some time.  Keep in touch.............Suzy

Hi Alexia. I was in LA when it snowed in Dec. I was at my sister-in-law's in Vinton down by hwy 10 just a stones throw from TX. We had gone down to spend the holidays in Katy, TX with our children and grandchildren. I bought my daughter a new cheap Singer machine a couple of years ago so i wouldn't have to lug my machine down there every time we went so I made pajama pants for all the grandkids for Christmas! They were all made from fleece so good timing since it has been so cold down there. I have not been able to sew at home for awhile. It is a very long story about hubby retireing and moving back to our old house in NV and old plugs. But soon hopefully!

Happy Sunday! Thought I would give the pattern info for the toille dress - it's Butterick 3772. My little toille dress is 12 months. The pattern comes in size 1,2,3 together and size 4,5,6 together. The pattern doesn't call for lining but I added that and the peek-a-boo hemming. Hope you enjoy!
