- I'm a part-time Stylist with a cute little Salon (Shabbychic) in my home. With a few college textile classes, online education and lot's of trial and error I've also started my own business, Embellish by Andrea. I have always loved sewing and have since I was very young. I'm like a kid in a candy shop anytime I go into a fabric store. I LOVE FABRIC and making things!!
- My sewing interests are:
- garment, home decor, upholstery
- My sewing machine(s):
- Two Singers, a brand new Necchi and new proud owner of a Vintage, Industrial Singer Sewing Machine that dates back to 1927. Now I can sew through many layers of heavy fabric with no problem. Ahh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to admit, I'm not much of a Halloween gal but my daughters friend, who's birthday is in October, LOVES it so I just had to make her something themed for her special day. Continue Serger Help!

I'm in the market for a Serger. Never had one but with my B-day and Mother's Day coming up (I gave my family "permission" this year to do a combo gift, lol) I've asked for one. I would love some feedback on your serger experience and what brands you have so that I can start my search. Thanks!! Can't wait to hear from you!
