That's so appropriate for us, isn't it? Maybe I could make another, dressed in patches, and draped with various sewing implements . . . "please, just one more piece of fabric . . . " LOL

Oh My Goodness, Lynn, You got that right! I know she was made to sing her cotton heart out, but to me, a fabric-a- hollic, I have to agree with Lynn, "If not a yard, is there just a remnant?"

This video demonstrates how to fix / adjust / repair the timing of the hook on a sewing machine. If the thread from your needle isn't getting caught by the hook that rotates around, this video explains what to adjust to fix that. Requires some very basic tools and takes 15-30 minutes - maybe less.
