"Hi Ann, I have been curious about the Juki machines and wondered if I would like one for general sewing. Why are they intimidating?? Do they operate differently? I'm sure they sew fast but do they run as well when you have to sew really,…"

Industrial Machines

I have a Juki DDL8700 straight stitch and a Juki MO2500, both of which I love. They're incredibly fast, and they sew beautifully through everything from chiffon to leather. They can be intimidating at first, but it's like learning to drive a car. Once you get used to them you never want to sew on a non-industrial. The downside is that they only do one type of stitch, so I keep my Pfaff for buttonholes and the occasional zigzag.AnnSee More
