"If you can knit and purl you are set. For cables you need a small needle to hold the stitches you are crossing over. If you have say a four stitch cable crossing in front it will say C4F. You would put two stitches on the small needle and leave them…"

I am an awesome:: I am married with two children (one deceased at 21). Our son, his wife and two sons live on the same street as us and we are lucky enough to have a lot to do with our grandsons.
I enjoy sewing, knitting, spinning and most handcrafts, cooking, gardening and reading.

My sewing interests are:: garment, home decor

i didnt learn sewing in school, just from watching my mother as a small child and then again recently while doing work experience in a sewing factory.
