Intro to Fashion Illustration - Class 3

Posted on August 9, 2009 at 10:08pm 0 Comments

Thursday was the 3rd session of Intro to Fashion Illustration. That Thursday, we would all get what we've been anxiously waiting for......to sketch clothing. Our first assignment would be to sketch a green blouse. Our instructor, Allyn demonstrated sketching the blouse. We followed with our interpretation. The class was in awe. All our sketches were different in style, yet each could be easily identified as the green blouse. The instructor assured us… Continue

Thanks for your nice comment Blondell. What you have offered the people in your community is a great idea! I'm not much of a "fashion person" but really admire you gals who are so creative. Used to be a quilter, but now the dolls have taken over....... I see that you are a dog lover too. We just "rescued" a Doxie/Ausstralian Cattle Dog mix. How's that for a combination?!

Hi Blondell I have a sister livening in Baltimore. I to started a sewing school where I live in Ireland. The classes are different to anything people are used to, but are a success. I worked in the trade for over 30 years and I am enjoying passing on the skills I have learned. I am hoping soon to offer a european regenoised cert for sewing and design skills.

Hi Blondell:
Do you mean you're moving here, and if so when? All the good fabric stores are in Miami, except for Cynthia's, S&S and another one that I cannot remember the name of, here in Broward county. Stay in touch.

Thank you so much for sharing this site with me. One day I will catch-up with the 21st century and get the needed marketing for my garments and craft.
