I enjoy anything related to sewing, magazines, photos of sewing machines, people who have them, making garments. I even enjoy looking for fabrics.
My sewing interests are:
garment, embroidery
My sewing machine(s):
For the time being I have a Brother 2003ult, and a Bernina 160, Janome compulock serger. I am now trying to find a machine that I would be able to take to class.
I am interested in patterns such as:
I've had a really hard time with patterns. For me they are not that easy, and i get frustrated and will take a detour and make something by sight. I am now trying to search and find software that would aid me making a better garment.

Hi Brandy, I have enjoyed sewing most of my life. Glad to be your friend on SWN. I have a wealth of information about sewing and am willing to share. Love to share my knowledge so feel free to ask. Happy sewing
Hi Brandy ~
I'm hoping that you're somewhere in my neck of the woods. It's hard to meet new people who just might understand sewing lingo. I teach a group of women at the community centre in Housey's Rapids (Gravenhurst) and make the short trek to Orillia at least once a week. Drop me a line and ask all the questions you want. If you live near here, perhaps a phone call or tea and donut at Timmy's.
Hey, Brandy! Thanks for the congratulations :o) I did get a super, super deal. It would be gauche of me to say what I paid, but I came out way ahead. I am having some trouble with the embroidery aspect. The machine keeps telling me a thread is broken when it isn't. I'm hoping to sit down and figure it out today. What are you working on?
Did you see my message that I have the Brother card 45 you wanted. It is from my store. I think the plastic that covers the packaging is either torn or gone, but other wise it is fine.
I am in Arkansas. Everyone makes that mistake. Arizona is AZ.
I don't really like to do garment sewing. I was involved in a car accident 4 years ago and had a severe head injury. It effected my short term memory. That means I really can't learn anything new unless it has good pictures. I really enjoy machine embroidery and usually put it on anything already made. I also enjoy in the hoop projects if I can understand the directions. Right now I am working on purses and practical things like pot holders, towels etc. I am planning on participating in a craft show in the spring.

You are correct the machines are really fun. I love them. I'm working on a coat for my husband for Fall.
