- About Me:
- I just started quilting the last 6 months or so. I started on a baby quilt from Amy Butler's little stitches and got hooked. I sewed a lot of other things over the last couple of years, but as soon as I had Ethan's quilt done I had to do another (it's kind of addicting). I just finished a quilt from some of my scraps and this weekend I'm starting on my first applique quilt. I'll probably do the pieceing on the machine and the applique by hand. Hope to gather a wealth of info from this site:)

This video demonstra
This video demonstrates how to fix / adjust / repair the timing of the hook on a sewing machine. If the thread from your needle isn't getting caught by the hook that rotates around, this video explains what to adjust to fix that. Requires some very basic tools and takes 15-30 minutes - maybe less.
