How long does it take to know what you are doing?

It seems like just yesterday that I joined this wonderful network of friends, and believe it or not, it has been a year!! (or a bit more) Family emergencies and life seem to hit us like a brick wall, and then it takes us some time to get over the bruises and injuries of hitting that wall.  My mother had an accident not too long ago that has had me traving a lot to take care of her, not just a few miles, but 250 miles one way.  You don't mind because you remember how much your mother has been…See More

OVERCOMING A BRAIN FREEZE

Living in Central California, one would think we would not have any kind of "bad" weather.  I watch the news and see the severe weather all over the country, except maybe California.  I feel guilty because I have a daughter in Washington and one in New York.  Talk about extreme weather.  What does this have to do with sewing you ask?  Well, one can get....hmmmm comfortable in her so called "secure environment".  I…

Some of you clean out your sewing room and get organized, hmmmm . . . it seems that is my daily… Continue

Some may have a business as a mere moneymaker, and others to use their…
