this is very pretty, could a person leave the waterproof material on and just put fabric over it? I guess, you would have to figure out the pattern though. Very pretty, thanks. I don't have any idea where to get the waterproof spray, can you…

I got a top of the line 13 lb Janome DC 1050, was planning on a Janome Jem, but this one has a great throat plate size, 7 inches, and it also has the self threading and lots of stitches, 60 I think...anyway, works great, and is very easy to carry to…

The casserole carrier, quilted and reversible by Vanessa, is really simple, but darling, I enjoy her tutorials, she is so bubbly and fun, as well as informative. Her talent is amazing.

The blue quilt with the map, is actually the back side, of the crazy quilt I made for my grandson, John, who is 10 months old, lives in California, but my granddaughter, Hallie is sitting on it, before it is actually finished, she was a little over a year at the time.

Thanks so much for the compliment. It was so much fun to make this quilt and I'm so glad everyone seems to like it. This is definitely not a quilt the cats will get to snuggle on. It can't go in the washing machine, so I'll be very careful with how it's displayed!

Hi Carolyn - the quilt you commented on was partially put together when given to me to finish with a box of spare fabrics already cut. All the top pieces are hand sewn together. I then used the machine to put on the back and quilt the layers together. I finished this quilt for a movie set - I was fortunate to be able to get the quilt back. I hated to see it thrown away or put into storage after they used it! The top looks to be old flour sack patterns (according to the ladies at my local quilt shop).
