I've finished my first granny square and posted a picture. Im a bit excited about it, I know its only a granny square but I did it! Yay. I know there's a few mistakes in it but shhhh maybe no-one else will notice.

sewable said… - Hi Caryn, nice to hear from someone local! My Pfaff problem was more with my making a hasty decision and living to regret it. My Pfaff 2048 is really a good machine (after a new motor and foot control!!!) but surplus to my requirements, as I love the 7570. Must sell one of them. My friend in Melbourne also bought a 2038 and loves it. Best regards, Helen

This video demonstra
This video demonstrates how to fix / adjust / repair the timing of the hook on a sewing machine. If the thread from your needle isn't getting caught by the hook that rotates around, this video explains what to adjust to fix that. Requires some very basic tools and takes 15-30 minutes - maybe less.
