Married for over 37 years with 4 grown children, hoping one day to have grandchildren I can sew for! Took homemaking in high school, but never sewed at home until my first baby was born and boy did that open up creativity for me! Love sewing clothing, crafts, purses, etc. No end to this satisfying pursuit!!

an euro pro deluxe denim & silk machine; a kenmore from the 80's and my mother's even older kenmore machine with many cams for different stitches...still sews super! Hoping for a new machine later!

No one kind I prefer...have used simplicity mostly, however used many from mcalls, butterick, patterns from Pavelka and others from a multitude of internet patterns--free and purchased.
Projects for Christmas
1. Two bag chickens---modified pattern for a hen to make into a bag holder. For two friends. If turn out well, maybe make one or two more? 2. A couple of Christmas stockings. 3. Re-do a tree skirt. 4. Sew a table runner, mats, and napkins. 5. And make a few ornaments--some sewn, some crocheted. 6. Finish a skirt and vest. Hoping to anyway!!
okay. okay. waited almost too late to finish my christmas projects I started in october. shame on me....but...yup, it's been known to happen to me a lot with other projects and things. Last minute...should be my middle name...but I guess somehow part of me wants to wait until the last minute so I am forced to FINISH the projects. Maybe...
