can you please tell me how you made this back pack. I have a sewing machine but I have a sewing machine phobia and have been learning to sew by hand. Did you use a pattern? I love love love this backpack.

Melissa said… - hi, i sent a friend request. thank you sew much on the marilyn monroe interest. i had to cut each black piece out individually than place them to form the picture. i did not sew anything around the edges of the pieces because i did not know how to do that, but i did put a netting over the top and did the quilting so it would hold it down. i had a black and white photo of marilyn monroe than blew up the picture just on four sheets of paper and pieced it and cut out material to form the picture. it really was not that hard, but i am very pleased with it and have an elvis i would like to do like that also.
