Beautiful......I always wondered how to do that. The instructions I have read in the past made no sense at all to me, but seeing this makes it look so simple! Thank you.
Sorry, I don't have any other suggestions. I am sure with determination you will figure it out. Step away for a bit and then try coming back to it. Sometimes that works for me.
Looks interesting, but sorry can't help you. Maybe you can find an online manual that you can download. I found a manual for one of my older kenmore's that way. Just a thought. Have you visited a Baby Lock Dealer? They may be able to help…
I have used a number of products on fabric, including ordinary crayons! I did a kids sewing camp a few years back where the kids all made small wall quilts for Thanks Giving. We drew a turkey on muslin, then took ordinary crayons, and colored them…
By the way, thanks for following me on twitter too! Just noticed that today.
If you need any help with twitter, I have been there for some time and may be able to answer your questions.
Chris
Lynne,
Thanks for your help with the embroidery blocks. I am using a square ruler with non-slip surface. However, it seems that when place over the embroidery, it wabbles a bit and that seems cause me to cut wrong at times. Maybe firmer pressure is…
Creating is part of who I am. Teaching is what I love to do. I have been crafting, sewing, quilting along with knitting, and crochet for most of my life. My current passion lies with quilting, and I recently started a website dedicated to teaching others to quilt.

I just happened to notice your comment in Bernina Users about embroidering quilt blocks. I have done this and you do need to cut your fabric larger and trim down later. You'll find it easier to trim up the blocks if you have sandpaper fabric grips on the ruler to keep it from shifting. You also need to press down firmly on the ruler and then cut. Are you using a square ruler?
I can relate to that statement. I am sure when the time is right, you will do what you need to do. I too have a full plate with quilting, teaching, gardening, and a thousand other tasks. On one task I need to do less of is...................time on the computer. LOL
I have not had time to stop and talk to the quilt lady yet. My hubby went back to Australia to work and it's garden time here in South Mississippi. So, we are planting a fair-sized garden, and I am trying to have his new BIG truck serviced. Where does the time go? I KNOW there are not enough hours in a day!
Thank the Lord!! Now I will finally be able to see some of my pretty tops actually being enjoyed! I understand about the email. There are a lot of weird people in this world who actually enjoy destroying others' personal items, such as computers. We just replaced this one about 2 weeks ago. I accepted the friend request. Thanks for all you have done to help me with my quilt tops!
Thanks for responding Chris. Yes, I would be willing to ship to Canada. I understand about giving out her info. That's fine. If you would see if she would take on some quilt tops, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
