The main thing you need to do to order wholesale is get a tax id number from your state. Then any wholeseller will work with you. A lot of them don't require you to have a minimum order, but if you have a larger order you may get free shipping…
Did you see my message that I have the Brother card 45 you wanted. It is from my store. I think the plastic that covers the packaging is either torn or gone, but other wise it is fine.
I am in Arkansas. Everyone makes that mistake. Arizona is AZ.
I don't really like to do garment sewing. I was involved in a car accident 4 years ago and had a severe head injury. It effected my short term memory. That means I really can't…
My last two machines are Brother. They are the same as the Bably Lock as Brother makes Baby Lock. You get the same machine but it cost less. I love my Brothers. I did a lot of research before I got it and these are the advantages I found. (I had a…
i have some left from my store. But the wholesale price on them is $50 - $60. You can contact me by email and we can discuss it, but I can't sell them for much under that price.
If you want to buy now because it would cost you less for the initial machine, buy one that can be upgraded. My Brother Quattro can be upgraded. I believe most of the machines are going to that feature.
The place to post reviews or request a review of a particular sewing machine such as Janome, Juki, Singer, Pfaff, Bernina, Brother, Elna, Viking, White, Husqvarna, Kenmore, OmniStitch, EuroPro, etc.
Are your loops on the top or the bottom of your fabric? If they are on top it is your bobbin tension that needs to be adjusted. If they are on the bottom it is the upper thread tension that needs to be adjusted. Also, are both of your spools…

Why wouldn't this work with old sweat shirts also? If they are too wide you should be able to just make the inside seam deeper. That would be a snap with a serger.
The great thing about recycled and refashioned clothing is the way that old clothes, styles and fabrics inspire the designers to create something gorgeous and new.
Yes it makes sense. I had that figured out, but I was trying to figure out if I listed them seperately and they wanted to purchase 5 and they chose which 5 instead of me putting 5 different ones together. I didn't think you could do it. I…
I have some small items I want to put on Etsy. They will be $4 each. I want to give customers the option of purchasing 5 for $15. The postage would be the same for 5 as it is for $1. How do I set this up on Etsy?
To buy wholesale the first step is to get your license from the state. All places require a copy of it to let you buy wholesale. A good place I like is Marshall's Dry Goods in Batesville, AR. You can send them your license and then either…
Of course I will be happy to answer any questions. I really learned a lot having my business. If I had the money to start over I think I could make a go of it.....or at least I like to think I would. If you want to ask question on this board I would be happy to answer them here. That way every one would get a better idea of how the stores work. Janome was my second choice. There was an exclusive Janome dealer near by and after I got into it Brother offered a few extras for their dealers that I liked. A lot of it also depends on the sales rep for your area and how supportive he or she is.
Connie I read your article on the machines. This was a dream of mine to sell machines. I now see the other side of the coin in selling. I purchased a brother ult2003 in Washington state. I thought that the company stood by their product. So when I moved to Chicago I found only one Brother dealer.
I contacted Brother company first....I figured the company would pay the store owner for free classes. I now understand the owners point of view. I was willing to pay...but the people wanted 100.00 to show me how to use the machine. I never took the classes. So I know the importance of purchasing from the dealer and taking the classes there.
Also I really felt for you in the sales department. This was one of my dreams of selling Brother or Janome. I still don't know who's best. You can email me at mamafiore22002@yahoo.com I would like to know a couple of things. I would have been your best customer just because you went out of your way to help me and ask questions. As a matter of fact that's how I ended up buying a Brother because the sales lady knew the machines, and always helped me with stuff. So I brought things from them. I even ended up buying a serger and another Brother for my daughter.
I have the Brother's innvo 4000d and Iupgraded it once. I like to know if
there another upgrade I can get on line for it are do I have to purchase all the upgrade cause it is not worth it to trade my machine in for the new model cause the amount they give you is nothing
