Profile Information

I am an awesome:: Returning to some sewing after a long break. Let's face it,I just lost the urge after a while. I always liked sewing dolls. I have tried dress construction but was not that good at it. I wanna give it another try. There are only so many dolls you can give away.

My sewing interests are:: garment, doll making

My sewing machine(s):: You are gonna laugh. I have probably the only Dial-N-Sew here. My husband got me a new singer for Christmas. It was the worst thing I ever worked with. Crafts are usually heavy pieces and I broke that machine in 2 weeks. Back to the store for that and back to old faithful. I ran across this site looking for sewing machine reviews, so I thought I'd join up to learn something.

I am interested in patterns such as:: Mc Calls butterick, vogue and a lot of doll patterns I have acquired over the years

Kanzashi

I was in a quilting shop in my area today. Looking around and they advertise classes. I was looking around and saw a book on Kanzashi. I thought the little flowers were pretty and they were used for bows and pins. I was not about to spend the money on the book though. If anyone is interested or has hear of Kanzashi, I found a link which I am posting for your use.
