I love creating purses using all vintage materials and trims. I grab lace, lace collars, old ribbons, buttons, vintage jewelry, vintage tea towels and tablecloths, and anything interesting that would be made into a purse. I see purses everywhere! I've just begun to alter clothing with the same trims and love the outcome! I especially enjoy hand sewing so much of it.

What type(s) of sewing machine(s) do you have?
I currently have a Brother computerized that is the Project Runway model. It's the best I can afford right now and it's great! Actually................the motor locked up so I am without a sewing machine!!
What brands of patterns have you tried?
I don't use patterns all the time and when I do I'm not particular if they have what I'm looking for. I usually alter then anyway.
Be cute on a hat box, book covers, journal, inside an old frame as a picture, as a mat for special pictures, an old cigar box for trinkets, front of a cabinet, or maybe decoupage on an old plate..............Love to hear what you decide!
