Just returned from Turkey and was enthralled with the harem pants. Being 40 or 50 years older than the model, I would adjust the pattern for a higher waist, but the concept is easy.

- I am a life long pianist and singer and got the bug to quilt about 8 years ago. I started with traditional and still enjoy that, but artquilting is in my blood. My husband and I have 6 kids and 8 grandkids. We travel extensively, but Paris is always in my heart.

This video demonstrates how to fix / adjust / repair the timing of the hook on a sewing machine. If the thread from your needle isn't getting caught by the hook that rotates around, this video explains what to adjust to fix that. Requires some very basic tools and takes 15-30 minutes - maybe less.
