Some people also use a spray adhesive between the layers to keep them together. I haven't tried that method -- aerosol ugh!

you may need to baste the layers or safety pin the layers together -- if you use safety pins, spread them out so you can get some stitching in before you have to stop. You can use needle and thread and make large stitches down and across the top and…
