This has inspired me to do some research on line and try to adjust and/or repair one of my machines. It never occured to me that I might find repair hints for sewing machines on line. Cudos to your husband, he did a great…

Just finished some baby items, a quilt piece that I finished and a shopping cart seat cover. Shower gifts for my niece's grandbaby.
Thank you, she is "Tilly in the Tub". I bought the pattern on line from Christine Treleaven in Australia. I just loved her too. Called my husband into the computer room to see her, he started laughing and said,…
I love this quilt!! My entire house is nautical and I collect lighthouses. We don't live near the ocean but we do live in an area with several lakes linked together. Fantastic job! Well done!
Very, very nice. I love the fabric choices and the tirm. Do you start with a triangle of fabric. I decorated cakes for many years and I recognize the cone shaped fold although somewhat modified. I have made scissor socks with…
Very nice job! I think the idea of different sizes is a good one. I am 5 foot nothin', on a good day, if I try hard and the 36 inch would be fine for me but not for someone 6 foot plus. So, give it a try. If you have…

I am a retired cake decorater and after 30+ years of doing detailed dimentional cakes, wedding cakes and protrait cakes I am now doing what I wanted to do for a long time. That is soft sculpture dolls. I enjoy creating in many areas crochet, sewing, dolls, tea cup floral arrangements.........you name it. My Grandmother was a seamstress and she started me sewing at a young age. So even though my profile says that I have been sewing for 20+ years, it is more like 55 + years.

Elizabeth, thanks for commenting on my blog. You are so correct. My husband, The Love of My Life, is a great guy, but I so look forward to his camping weekends.
Your soft sculpture dolls are too cute. I love the lady in the bathtub with the wine. I feel just like that sometimes.

Isn't it funny how our pets always follow us into the sewing room!! Thanks so much for the comment.
Thanks so much for the compliment. It was so much fun to make this quilt and I'm so glad everyone seems to like it. Unfortunaltel, this will be one quilts Jelly Bean won't be able to snuggle on since it really can't go in the washer. But, he has plenty of others, plus his own!
Elizabeth...I saw your post on Susan's comment wall. I do hope you're feeling better and making a good recovery. Sending you warm hugs and well wishes. :o)
