I am an awesome:

I am happily married (made 2 mistakes getting to the charm) with two adult children. Jenny is 25 and Matt is 22. I have one beautiful, smart grandson. I never learned to sew (mom didn't sew) and now I am taking classes for the fun of it. I actually bead like crazy. Beading is my favorite pastime. I love chocolate and on my way to being a vegan. I live in the "dry" heat of AZ. I find the best way to learn is from experienced sewers willing to share with an absolute beginner. Forums are great for this.

I have one. A Huskystar C20. So far so good. I want a serger next. :)

I am interested in patterns such as:

I like patterns with the most details. I do not do well with written instructions. If I see something demostrated it makes sense but written directions usually don't. I want to sew simple fun summer dresses and skirts. That's the plan for right now.
