- I am a retired teacher that took up sewing 10 years ago when I retired. I really enjoy sewing home decorations and am learning all the time. I had no idea sewing could be so much fun. It is a great tool to learn techniques. I have been sewing for years an as copyright goes you can not create an item exactly like another...but if you change to create your own style that is allow because it is not exactly like the pattern.
