Patterns:I bought a cheap 4 drawer plastic cabinet from WalMart and laid my patterns down flat - they are sorted of what they are, grandkids clothing, quilts, vests & jackets, wall hangings, table runners etc....Fabric: Use Walmart's smaller bins to contain fabric less then 1 yard long.Fabric: Use flat folds to organize the 1 yard to "whatever" yard length I have of fabric - those are organized by color.
