I am an awesome:

Novice sewer here~ Never taken any classes or professional lessons. I am really not a "creative" person, but picked up sewing- for therapeutic purpose. I hope to learn from all of you, as I don't have any friends who are into sewing or any type of crafts, DIY, or any "artsy" stuff(sigh~). I enjoy sewing garments and some home decor stuff. I would like to learn more about basic fundamentals, like pattern drafting, sewing techniques, serging, and alterations... Thanks!

Babylock sewing machine(almost 10 yrs old), brand new Babylock Evolution- 8 thread serger machine(with chain and cover stitch functions built-in)

I haven't really bought any... I've tried few of the Burdastyle opensource patterns(some are ok but the instructions are horrible). I am thinking of trying different ones. Also thinking about purchasing pattern drafting Computer software... but I don't know yet:)
