"You could watch the "How to shirr fabric" tutorial on here, and re-do the stitching. After trying on scrap fabric, you'll see how easy it is. Good luck, and let us know how it turns out."

Help reattaching small cord elastic to shirt

Help the small cord elastic started coming unsewn after last washing. The entire chest area of this shirt has 20 rows of this cord elastic to make puckering. During wash a middle elastic cord became unsewn half way with the thread used to attach cord tangling with other clothes in wash. The elastic cord is still attached to shirt but how do I sew it back in place? I have never done this technique before. Thanks for the help.See More

Profile Information

I am an awesome:: Sewing and crafts were a mainstay when I was younger. Thinking of getting started again. Hoping this will be like riding a bike. Maybe as long as I have people to confer with when memory fails, I will enjoy making things with my hands again.
