Thank you, I will try that. The weight loss is intentional & I have a long way to go. I suppose I'm going to learn about alteration since I have a closet full of clothes in various sizes. Much better to resize those than to spend money for…

Hello Jeane, congrats on the weight loss, Hope it was intentional. Depending on the pants style, try taking the pants in at the crotch seam, this shortens the cener back and center front seams and takes fullnes out of the leg......may not work with…

Not having an air threader serger, I didn't know woolly nylon wouldn't go through the threaders that way. Thanks for the information

the problem with wooly nylon is that there really isn't any body to it so you can't push it into the holes for the air jet threaders ... you just have to tie it to existing thread ... but most serger users do that most times they have to…

Not having to thread the machine in any order sounds very much easier than the others. Thanks for the info. Jeane

In what way is the woolly nylon trickier than using other threads with your serger? The Babylock really seems to be a pleaser. When I can, I'm going to look into that. Jeane

if you have a problem with "bouncy" machines (of any make or model) just put some of the gripper shelf-liner stuff (i got mine at the dollar store) ... definately keeps those machines from moving while you put the pedal to the metal!!

you can use any thread in the babylock ... it's trickier to use wooly nylon ... but it still works

um ... i have a babylock imagine (with the air jet technology) and i can thread my machine in under a minute ... i've never timed it, but it's FAST!

Well, I see that I left out what I thought was such a good idea. It's taking the picture of the threaded serger. That's so logical with those digital cameras. Thanks again.

What a terrific idea. The best ideas, like this one, are those that make you think why didn't I think of that. Thanks so much.

I took my digital camera and put it on "close up" and took photos of my serger that was already threaded when I bought it. I use it alot, but seldom have to thread it from start. The knotting thing usually works so I just pull the thread…
