- I thought that they are all the rage in America!! Apparently once they have been franked to prove they have been through the post they are very collectable. Well known quilt artists make them to sell for charity but they don't have to be lovingly hand quilted. You can make them with almost any reasonably flat textile technique especially using cheats like fusible webbing. Decorate the outside how you like or we both agree on a theme!!

This video demonstra
This video demonstrates how to fix / adjust / repair the timing of the hook on a sewing machine. If the thread from your needle isn't getting caught by the hook that rotates around, this video explains what to adjust to fix that. Requires some very basic tools and takes 15-30 minutes - maybe less.
