"Sandra, I made this using the free pattern designed and offered by someone else about 3 years ago.  Sadly, it appears that she no longer either has her blog or decided to remove the instructions.  I don't have the pattern…"

Flour Sack Bread Bag

I repurposed flour sacks into Bread Bags by adding a casing for a drawstring, embellishing with vintage hand crocheted lace that had once adorned pillow case edges, added buttons and made a linen flower. Now holds loaves of baked bread.More photos…

Hi Jennifer, This is my first time on Sew-Whats-New. I absolutely love your Pocket Tea Bag Holder and would like to know where I can get the pattern. I am mostly a quilter but I love to make quick gifts for friends, family and neighbors. I think this would be perfect for my Red Hat group too.

Thank you, Janet

Hi Jennifer, I am also new to this site. I have been sewing for 41 years. I started when I was around 7 on my grandmothers old Singer. I got a Textile Science degree from the Univ. Of Arkansas in 1983. I really wanted to design fabric. There wasn't money in it at time and I would have to move far away from Home. Instead I went into pharmaceutical sales. I had 2 1/2 years of nursing behind me and my father was a doctor.
I now am starting to have step-grandchildren and hopefully one day have my childrens grandchildren. They are 21 and 17.
Look forward to visiting with you online!
