Just thought I'd check out your profile to see what type of sewing you do. I'm a quilter more than a sewer. Noticed that you quilt too. I'm planning on retiring in another 1.5 years and then hope to quilt up my stash...which keeps growing due to visiting all the quilt shops around the area. LOL

BTW, Craig probably doesn't remember me. I met them when they were teens and I would get a ride with their father...I taught at the school where he was principal. Did visit & saw the train set a couple of times when they lived in the town.

I was going to retire in 1.5 yrs too but had to leave early for health reasons. I am hoping to get my stash quilted too. I also do some sewing for the grandkids (I should say try) it has been a learnng curve compared to when I used to do it in the 80's. BTW Fran said you are very nice.
Glad we met!

Feeling much better now. Still have no idea what happened. I go to the Dr. for my follow up visit next week. I am so far behind in getting back to my sewing, can't seem to get the energy back as fast as I use to. I am happy to find so many people that care for each other. It's funny, sewers, quilters and other crafters have a soft spot for each other. Thank you for leaving me a message. chat with you again soon. Your friend, Grami Fran

Sadly, it has been many years since we could all get together. We are many states and miles apart and it just doesn't work out when we are able to make the trip to have everyone together. But it is a joy just getting the chance to see them in person once in a while. We are getting antsy to move back in about 4 years. Most will be grown up by then :O(
