Birdie's embroidery problem

Birdie, You definitely need to look into the stabilizer issue. Good stabilizer and tight in the hoop. My sewing group recently did some embroidery on some fine linen and would have had the same problem. We put a "floating" stabilizer of tear-away under the hoop and design and it did not pucker. Part of the problem is that the needle pushes the fabric down and there is nothing under it to keep it from going into the needle h***....causing the puckering.

Hi there. thanks for the tip on Thred. I have SophieSew, but the software is incomplete and crashes a lot for me. I also have downloaded all three versions of Amazing Designs software. They are great and are a lot less expensive if you buy the full versions. AmazingDesigns.com They give you 30 days to work with the software and tutorials can be found on the website and on Youtube. Cheers, and good luck!
