I wish my eyes were good enough to smock.  Your work is beautiful.  I did it for a while when my girls were young. Sewing goes much faster!

Thank you TJ.  I wish I had some more of those colored diaper clothes.  I can not remember where I found them. I could try dyeing some.  I haven't needed a newborn gift recently.

My Christmas Dog Bed

Made this at midnight last night for my dachshund "Sweetpee"

I was going to sew a Red Bone on the Green, but she claws around so much on her bed before curling up
I didn't think it would last.

I have been using a blog on line through google domain. I think I should drop it and use here instead. Twitter drives me crazy, so I mostly go to twibes where I can see and share with people that like the same thing I do. There is way too much "racket" out there for me. I am almost 49 and don't want to keep up with things I don't care about.

Crafting has really gotten bazaar. There are some crazy things out there. I support All Hand and Machine Made, but my passion is ALL fabric,… Continue

Hi Jodie, Thanks for adding me as a friend.  I, too, viewed your photos and enjoyed your creations.  I often think that if I wasn't working, I could sew so much more.  I have some alterations to do for my sister-in-law and then, if I don't have any orders, I'll go back to my Vogue dress and try to correct the misfitting.  I think I am going to have to find another seamstress to help with this.  I posted a few photos of the dress-not sure if they all made my blog.  Feel free to take a look and comment if you have time.

Thanks for adding me as a friend. The appliques are fun to do. I've done towels, totes, bibs, burps, shower curtains, pillowcases, pillows, dresses, shirts and for Christmas I bought colored floursacks and appliqued a bright cross on them.

Hey Jodie! Thanks for the tip on the roller foot. I have all of 1 foot right now. You'd think I would have graduated by now but I haven't. Guess it's time to trek out to JoAnn's.

Jodie - I'm going through your slide-show and love everything you make! You have the 'touch' and know how to turn a simple piece of fabric into a wonderful creation. Thanks so much for the inspiration and sharing! :o)

Hey Jodie! I think the Turkey placemat would look great in bright colors too. Use your stash! :o) Kids really like bright and bold colors. Your grandson will think whatever you make for him is fabulous! Be sure to take a picture of your completed placemat.
