"I am no expert Jeannie, but you can attach it to the seam allowance of the outer bag if you are confident it will turn through the h*** in your lining ok. Make sure the stitching is reinforced so they don't rip. Otherwise you can insert it…"

I just saw the pin cushion tutorial. Thank you! I am going to try and follow the instructions without using a pattern -- I'm not much for patterns, but I do like to freestyle stuff (which probably explains why my projects turn out as they do!)

Thank you for the tip on posting the link to my blog.I love the bags shown in your photo section!!! Learning how to make bags is on my "things to learn" list. Right  now, I'm still leaning how to cut straight lines for quilts (I'm not joking about this). I hope to sew well enough to be able to create fabric coasters for tea sets for gifts and swaps.
