Alterations and Cardigans

Posted on June 28, 2016 at 2:12am 0 Comments

A few years ago a friend of mine asked me to do some alterations for her.  She teaches ballet to students at our local university, and they bought her a hooded sweatshirt and a black tshirt with ballet decals. She appreciated the thought, but not the style!  She wanted to know if I could alter them so the hoodie opened down the front, and do something with the t-shirt.  You can read the post I did …

I did use the link, that is where I got my pattern from, but I did not see on there anywhere about how much material to use. Thank you so much!

I just saw the pin cushion tutorial. Thank you! I am going to try and follow the instructions without using a pattern -- I'm not much for patterns, but I do like to freestyle stuff (which probably explains why my projects turn out as they do!)

Thank you for the tip on posting the link to my blog.I love the bags shown in your photo section!!! Learning how to make bags is on my "things to learn" list. Right  now, I'm still leaning how to cut straight lines for quilts (I'm not joking about this). I hope to sew well enough to be able to create fabric coasters for tea sets for gifts and swaps.
