For those wanting to encase the edge of a quilted fabric, this method "may" work, but it is difficult.  The two step method works better for bulky fabric edges.

Arlene, I agree with you.  The FIX is great to know about, but a little bit of prevention, AKA clean your bobbin case area often could prevent the need for a fix.

Hi Kathleen...my laptop has been a life saver over the years. It is old but still running strong. My desktops keep dying, but my old Toshiba keeps going :O) Hubby made a lap table for it that has handles I designed and he made.
