About Me:

I've been sewing since 5th grade when a friend of my mother's spent the weekend with me teaching me. We made a corduroy jumper - not a good fabric choice for a first garment - besides the corduroy nap I had stripes to deal with. Went on to take sewing in 4H and learned much more. Took a quilting class while I was pregnant with my second child. I love to sew cloth dolls. I want to sew purses. I love purses and think this would be a great way to both use my stash and have new accessories!
