About Me:
I like sewing for my grandchildren. I also setup at local "flea markets". I have a multitude of children's patterns. I have the tendency to use only a few though and make changes to suit me. I also design and create my own patterns. I have been sewing for 25 years and plan on 25 more!

Your clothes are fabulous! I sew mainly for my 3 1/2 year old granddaughter. I am quickly moving into the more "boutique" look intead of the more traditional look. Seems to fit my Brooke's personality! We now have a little grandson - 1 month old - so I know I will be doing some sister/brother outfits!

Your ruffles are beautiful - do you use a serger???

I look forward to making more friends here - so glad I happened upon this site!@!

Thank you for the kind comment. I like to make clothing that is "different". I like the more bold look and enjoy making choices on which fabrics to use. I do make styles and use fabrics that are more traditional, but mainly enjoy the more out of the ordinary look. I make clothing for my 2 granddaughters and set up at flea markets. I work a fulltime job, but always sew in the evenings and week ends. Wish I had more time for the sewing. I just joined and have not had a real chance to explore and find new sewing friends. Thanks again, Kathy

This video demonstrates how to fix / adjust / repair the timing of the hook on a sewing machine. If the thread from your needle isn't getting caught by the hook that rotates around, this video explains what to adjust to fix that. Requires some very basic tools and takes 15-30 minutes - maybe less.
