I started off the weekend by whipping up a child sized bbq apron and chef's hat. Then I went on to hem a pair of jeans for myself. I followed that up by cleaning out the storage room - a job and a half on it's own. Hubby…
I'm finishing up my daughter's dress (Christmas present), making a dress for myself, and a dressing gown for a client. There are also a bunch of odds and ends that need a bit of time at the sewing machine. My weekend is going…
Last January I swore I would start my Christmas sewing early this year. So, here I am, nearly Christmas again and I'm about to start on my Christmas sewing today - two dresses, a dressing gown, barbeque apron and hat. Think…

Well, the CreativFestival didn't happen for me. I had surgery on my foot instead. Perhaps I can catch the spring one.
Anybody out there decided that the CreativFestival is the place to visit on Oct 21,22,23? I'm planning on being there at least one day, possibly 3 or 4, if I can decide which courses to take. I'll stay at my daughter's…
I've never done a swap online before but it can't be that difficult to work it out. I guess the first thing you need is people who are interested in joining.
I'd love to see a swap of charm squares - like 10 squares of different fabrics with 2 or 3 exchange buddies. It would quickly give one enough squares to do a quilt. When can we start?
Hey, Warna ~
It seems that some of us are going and are interested in meeting up with "the bunch from the sewing group". I'll be there, don't know which day yet but if we can all agree on the day and the time, we could all…
Hey, Brenda ~
I've been there several times and always find some new and fascinating gadget or technique to play with at home. There's a bus going down from here on the Friday and I'm thinking about taking it. There's…

Hi there! I just saw your question @ Pattern Makers Group. Have you ever tried the Pattern Master Boutique? It looks like it might solve the problem you're having. I just heard an excellent recommendation for it from a fellow Sew What's New member. You can check it out on my page under the comments. Have a great day!
You're not kidding a blast from the past. I am at the same place. All the kids have grown up and we are now grandparents of two little boys. Mandy lives in Prescott with her husband and two sons; Michael is at home right now having just graduated college and Matthew graduated college last year and has moved out last month with his girlfriend. I quit working at Fabricland 4 years ago at the end of July. It was great to hear from you.
