I've been having a great deal of difficulty getting a good fit on a pants pattern. My body problems? tummy measurement is the same as the hip measurement, short rise, fairly heavy legs, no hip curve. I can't seem to get the torso part of the pattern…

It really depends on your serger brand and what it's normal settings are. Normally, I use a slightly longer stitch length but the same tension settings as for any stretch fabric. A regular balanced tension should do the job just fine.

Mandy lives in Prescott with her husband and two sons; Michael is at home right now having just graduated college and Matthew graduated college last year and has moved out last month with his girlfriend. I quit working at Fabricland 4 years ago at the end of July. It was great to hear from you.
