Refashion & Recycle

Thumbnail
The great thing about recycled and refashioned clothing is the way that old clothes, styles and fabrics inspire the designers to create something gorgeous and new.

Hey again. Sounds like this is going to revolutionize your sewing life when you figure it out! Ijust downloaded your manual and stitch width and tenison don't factor in. If it's not coming down the final side it may be because you stopped the top bartack with the needle on the left instead of the right. That's the only thing I can think might cause what is happening to you.

You do have the buttonhole foot on, right? The sliding part needs to be moved all the way to the back before you begin sewing.

Try it again, making sure the needle is on the correct side of the button hole before you choose the next part of the stitch on the dial.

I hope it works out for you!

No probs. I'm sorry it didn't work! I would go back to where you got it and ask for a demo. The only other thing is maybe you have to change your stitch width? Or hold down the reverse button while doing the final side?

If you live anywhere near Burlington, ON, you could come in to where I work www.SewEtc.com and any of the staff could show you...

Good luck!

This video demonstrates how to fix / adjust / repair the timing of the hook on a sewing machine. If the thread from your needle isn't getting caught by the hook that rotates around, this video explains what to adjust to fix that. Requires some very basic tools and takes 15-30 minutes - maybe less.
