Profile Information

I am an awesome:: I love to sew. I have been sewing since junior high, trust me that was a long time ago. I don't think they even use the term junior high any more. I mainly sew garments for work and play, for me only! I do some machine embroidery but less and less lately.

My sewing interests are:: garment, embroidery

My sewing machine(s):: Viking Designer SE, Janome 300E embroidery machine, Janome 1000 Coverstitch machine, Elna serger and Babylock Embellisher.

I am interested in patterns such as:: I use Kwik Sew, Vogue, Butterick and Simplicity the most. I like Burda Style patterns as well.

RTW Knockoff

I am beginning to work on a Simplicity dress pattern that will be used to sew a RTW knockoff of a dress by Adrienne Papell that I saw in a Nordstroms catalog. I am off to the sewing room to finish fitting the pattern and to start the cutting and sewing process.
