Recycled T-Shirt Dress with Angie

Yesterday, I had a blast helping my friend Angie learn to sew – VERY creatively – as I guided her in designing and creating a summer dress for use as she is a featured singer/artist in a local Blue Grass band.  This is one creative gal  – and I am honored to introduce and guide her into creativity with fabric!

Starting with an aqua…

Londa, you seem to know a bunch about sewing, and I need expert advice! I'm trying to see a comforter and the problem comes in when attaching the thick braided cording. I can't get it close enough to just show the cord on the right side. I have pictures of it on my page. Can you help me??

Hi

Have just watched the You Tube video you did on trying Texture Magic as I have been researching it to do an article on it in the Bags Channel.  I went and looked on your website to see if there were any examples of you using it for collars etc but just found the product itself.  I am posting the article this Friday and would love to add pictures if you have any.

Not exactly given the reins over. My daughter thought she would like to try and create a new Sew Whats New and did so with my blessing. Everything is her work and ideas. I visit to see what's new.

Hi Londa, it's Mary from the "old" Sew Whats New. Your picture is great, and a second wedding gown too. What an undertaking. I remember the lovely job you did on the first one.
