If it's an elastic waistband, undo the stitching, remove the elastic, and take in the entire skirt as needed. Add new elastic cut to the proper size and stitch band back in place. Hope this helps. Comment back if I've made any of it confusing. I'm just outside of Greenville, SC. I love Charlotte! It's a great city. :o)
