Found this to be very interesting...how about showing how you would sew bound edges without it looking sloppy and what type of foot to use on your machine.
Thought it was interesting that you wrote me back on my mother's birthday (she would have been 84)...the one who gave me my first sewing machine. Looking forward to your photo.

It is beautiful! I still have the one my mother bought for me when I was around 10 years old. I plan on getting it all cleaned up so I can sew on it again.

I have my grandmother's Singer that has been thoroughly redone. It is so pretty. She passed away about 2 months ago. She sewed on it up until about 10 years ago. She made an old timey pieced quilt top (using newspapers as backing) for each of her grandchildren, and I think she has like 20 grandchildren (I'd have to sit and count to get an exact number, but believe me, there are a lot of us!) I have it in my dining room, but haven't taken a photo of it yet. It is still fully functional. She died at 93.
