Sewing machine review

I have a very diverse collection of machines. My first is my Grandmother's featherweight which was purchased new in 1934 and is a reliable charm for basic sewing . I love it! Then I bought a Viking new in 1978 and it has cams that fit in the back for various stitches. It weighs a ton but reliably sews straight stitch, zig zag and buttons. The fancy cams no longer work. Profile Information

About Me:: I am a retired teacher and school counselor. I have sewn my whole life and now I can do it for fun and hopefully profit. I do all sorts of sewing and am always on the lookout for new ideas, patterns, fabric and challenges. I even teach sewing to others which is a thrill. Mostly I do quilting, machine embroidery and some children clothing. Recently I went into "business" with a friend. I make the bags and purses and she sells them. I am addicted to fabric and all of its possibilities!

I just joined this website and group so I am a newbie to this! I have sewn all my life and am now retired and can sew to my heart's content. I recently joined up with a friend who is selling purses. I have designed and refined the patterns for the purses and have now started sewing them. She will start selling them when we have more inventory. I am the worker bee in the "sweat shop".
