That is wonderful that your granddaughter went home growing strong and healthy. And what a coincidence - I have twin daughters who were born on June 22. They are 19 now but I was fortunate enough to carry them up to 13 days before my due date and they were almost 7 pounds each. I l9ove to sew for children and teach children to sew.

Hi Mary, and welcome from Metairie, LA. I enjoy many types of sewing as well and also do some charity sewing with a quilting guild. We sew for hospital neo-natal Icu's nursing homes, VA homes, and a battered women's shelter. I am also trying to decide what I will make for my nieces and nephews for Christmas this year.
