How to Transfer Sewing Patterns to Sturdier Paper for Repeated Use

"This was a very clear and helpful tutorial. I have never thought of the spiked tracing wheel as a marking tool to redo patterns. I have a collection of used file folders in my office that will be finding a new home in my sewing room. Thanks Crafty…"

I wouldn't care if he earned money but, I would like it if he picked up his own toys!
Jaimie is a VERY energetic kitty but he's a real sweetheart. Thanks so much for the comment.

Hi Mary Lou,
Sounds like you did lots of sewing for Christmas. I've had to take a break from pretty much everything since January 28th.... my husband had a brain aneurysm, requiring a very serious surgery, and a long recovery. He's doing better, but I still don't have much time for myself yet; or my sewing group.
We did make felted pins at our last meeting before my husband's injury.
When we had our first grandson, 2 years ago, I made a teddy bear for him out of my mother's mink. It was one of the hardest things I've ever sewn, but it turned out really cute. Now I'll probably have to do the same when our other two have their first baby!

Hi Mary Lou,
I'm new to this, but was looking for ideas for my neighborhood sewing group and stumbled on to this website.
I'm currently sewing a felted wool handbag for my daughter. Have you ever done needle felting? It is definitely addictive!
Best Wishes, Marsha

Hi Mary Lou, I've been doing the Turning Twenty Around the Block which makes a quilt that just covers the top of a full size bed or what some would consider a large lapsize, I guess. Right now I'm working on coming up with projects for a three day quilt day-camp I've been asked to do for a dealer in Florida. So I'm designing a tablerunner, a placemat and trying to think of something else small but quilty. . .
