Very, very nice.  I love the fabric choices and the tirm.  Do you start with a triangle of fabric.  I decorated cakes for many years and I recognize the cone shaped fold although somewhat modified.  I have made scissor socks with…

I'm planning on making a swimsuit for my 3yr old daughter. I was recently told about a pattern that is in Sew Beautiful Magazine. It seems theyre all made of seersucker, which is fine with me. Im sure a pattern could also be found on etsy!

Wow Melissa, thanks for the "lnky luv"! : ) That was really kind! I can't wait to start on more. First I get to make a raggedy for my elderly neighbor tho'. When she & her husband moved to the nursing home last year, she let me have two, old cigar boxes full of vintage buttons & garter hardware! I thought I'd make her a black raggedy (since she's black) & use some of her buttons on the dress. Should be fun!

Thanks! I've gotten another fully complete, one Polynesian doll whose done except for some of her hair, a lei & a flower in her hair. I'd love to try one of yours. I wonder if it would work in her hair. I'm looking for your little instructional you said you made for the flowers, but I can't find it. I never have been very good at finding my way around *laugh* where did you put it?

This video demonstrates how to fix / adjust / repair the timing of the hook on a sewing machine. If the thread from your needle isn't getting caught by the hook that rotates around, this video explains what to adjust to fix that. Requires some very basic tools and takes 15-30 minutes - maybe less.
