"I've done this for a long time. My mom was an avid sewer, and whenever I outgrew something she had made, the buttons came off and were reused in another garment. I had the same buttons on various dresses growing up!"

I am an awesome:: I am a happily married 50-something working woman who sews in her spare time. Have a serger I've never used - would love pointers on where to start to use it!

My sewing interests are:: garment, home decor, quilting, embroidery

My sewing machine(s):: A Singer and a Baby Lock serger

I am interested in patterns such as:: Butterick first, Simplicity second, and Vogue third (only because they're so expensive)
